How to: Thread the sling

Threading the sling is the first step in easy and safe baby wearing.

1.
Place the rings over the shoulder of your choice with the rings hanging slightly in the front of your body and the fabric hanging loosely behind your back. The warning label should be facing down.

2.
While holding your rings in place with one hand, grab the tail of the fabric with the other hand. Spread the width of the fabric across your back, ensuring the fabric is not twisted.

3.
While holding the tail, pull the tail through both rings (going under the bottom and through the top) forming a closed loop.

4.
Now, slide the tail over the top ring and down through the bottom ring and pull. This is similar to threading a belt.

How to: Tummy-to-Tummy Carry

The tummy-to-tummy carry is the safest way to carry newborn and smaller babies.

1.
With your MY PEEKABOO sling already threaded, place the ring slightly below your front shoulder, leaving enough slack in the front pouch for the baby.

2.
Grab your baby and rest them in a burping position over the shoulder, opposite to the rings.

3.
While supporting the baby's back with one hand, take the other hand and pull the baby’s legs through the pouch.

4.
Cup baby's knees with the bottom rail of the fabric while pulling the upper rail of the fabric upwards near the baby’s shoulder. Knees should be higher than the baby's bottom for a nice, deep seat.

5.
To tighten the bottom rail around the baby’s bottom, pull the outside fabric of the tail. To tighten the upper rail around the baby’s shoulders, pull the inside fabric of the tail. (Continuously support the baby's back with freehand).

How to: Hip Carry

Threading the sling is the first step in easy and safe baby wearing.

1.
With your MY PEEKABOO sling already threaded, place the ring slightly below your front shoulder.

2.
Pull the outside fabric of the tail to tighten the bottom rail of your sling so that it’s tight across your torso. Leave the top rail of your sling loose.

3.
Grab your baby and place them on your hip inside the sling. Cup the baby’s legs into a seated position on your hip while pulling the top rail of the fabric over the baby’s shoulder so that the back is completely covered by fabric. Knees should be higher than the baby's bottom for a nice, deep seat.

4.
To tighten the fabric around the baby’s bottom, pull the outside fabric of the tail. To tighten the fabric around the baby’s shoulders, pull the inside fabric of the tail. (Continuously support the baby's back with freehand).
